General:

Left the war memorial and headed down Upper Retaruke, then Kurua Road to link up with Fishers Track which cuts west towards National Park Village. Nice track through some punga & cabbage tree forests and farm land, all within an area called Erua Forest. Looks to be good hunting territory with loads of signs and maps posted around for the hunters.
