General:

Pretty cruisey day. Meandered down the river. Few more riverside animals seen along the way. Peacocks seem to be everywhere up here. Docked at Hipango Park, an old Maori Pa (Potakataka) that was gifted to the people of Wanganui in 1913 by Waata Hipango. The gift was gratefully accepted and appropriately named Hipango Park. Nice spot surrounded in bush with an open shelter. Perfectly still night by a campfire 🔥.
